I’ve been married to my wife Kathy for 29 years, we have 3 grown children and 3 grandkids.  I previously owned an HVAC & Plumbing business for 27 years, sold it off in 2020 and retired with the idea of getting into a profession that matched my passion for the land and the great outdoors.

I was raised in a little Mississippi River town about 75 miles North of St. Louis – My father & grandfather would take me hunting ( before I could even walk, I’m told ) I grew up hunting, fishing and trapping the hills, hollers, rivers and streams in and around my home town of Louisiana. I would read all the outdoor magazines I could get my hands on, this helped fuel a passion for hunting abroad and for lots of other species. I’ve been very fortunate to have traveled not all over the world, but, a very good portion of it, from the western US hunts to Alaska DIY hunts to outfitted Canadian hunts and even Africa 3x’s – I’m an avid archery hunter and have taken 16 Black Bears with Archery.

I’ve also been blessed to own several farms over the years, even ran a 100 head Angus cow operation for about 8 years on one of the farms.  Owning, managing and even selling some of these farms have taught me what makes a farm a trophy class property from a good hunting spot or just a farm to go hunting at to enjoy with your family. It’s also these same passions and experiences that help guide me and my customers through whatever footprint and/or passion they have for the dirt they are seeking or maybe selling.

If, I’m not at the farm doing something, or fishing, you’ll find me sitting atop of a horse, I own and show American Quarter horses trained for the Cutting discipline.
