Being born and raised in west-central Illinois, I’ve been truly blessed to be around some of the best hunting and ag ground in the country. My love for hunting and the outdoors were instilled by my grandpa and dad. As a toddler I was introduced to hunting, shooting, fishing, trapping, dirt bike/ATV riding, camping, and enjoying everything that encompasses the great outdoors. At the age of seven, I started going afield with my dad. I can remember sitting beside both my dad and brother in the old “Wooden Stand” dad built years prior. I finally began hunting by myself at 11 years old, and was able to harvest my first whitetail with a bow.That moment changed my life and I haven’t looked back since.The roots were established, and I immediately fell in love with what the land provides. Hunting is a way of life, and has shaped me into the person I am today. Presently, I am instilling the same passion for the outdoors in my two sons.

Today, I am proud to be an avid outdoorsman. Big game animals are my favorite thing to hunt, particularly Whitetail Deer. The culmination of having the ability to watch specific deer grow to maturity, combined with years of experience managing properties, planting food plots, and creating habitat for all wildlife to flourish, is extremely gratifying for me. I truly cherish every moment I spend on the land, and thoroughly enjoy getting people involved in the outdoors and experiencing wild things. I’m a big proponent for conservation, and think that all habitat and wildlife should be available for generations to come. I firmly believe outdoor enthusiasts like myself should all be stewards of the land.

Some of the best memories of my life have come from being immersed in the outdoors. I believe those memories allow me a unique understanding of the connection between a person and the land.
