Randy grew up on a farm outside of Lu Verne, IA in Kossuth County the youngest of 6 children. Raising corn, soybeans, hogs and cattle gave him experience and love for the farm life and instilled a work ethic in him at an early age. After high school he attended Iowa State University where he had an All-American career as a sprinter on the Cyclones Track Team and also earned his BS degree in Exercise Science. When his college running career finished, he took a job as a Marketing Representative for a crop insurance company where he spent over 15 years traveling all corners of Iowa familiarizing him with all areas of the state of Iowa as an insurance sales rep.  Randy has a passion for Iowa tillable farms and pastureland. He currently maintains in partnership a small registered purebred Simmental cattle herd. He enjoys spending time at his pasture working on fences, clearing up brush or just relaxing enjoying the peacefulness of the countryside with a view. In his free time you will find Randy spending quality time with his wife Michelle and 2 adult step sons Austin and Alan. Likely on a lake somewhere in the summer or at an Iowa State Football game in the fall.    With over  20 years of working in Ag related careers, Randy is an experienced Iowa land agent and is excited to meet new LandOwners throughout Iowa and help you in reaching your real estate goals!
