I grew up on cattle farm in Ripley County, Indiana.  I still live in Ripley County with my wife, Brittany and our three boys, Gunner, Jace, and Huck. Growing up on the farm taught me to work hard and to appreciate everything that the good Lord blesses us with.  My family enjoys the outdoors as much as I do.  Whether it be taking the boys on an evening deer hunt, or simply sitting outside on the porch to enjoy dinner.  It brings me joy to see my boys’ faces light up whenever they see a deer run across the field beside the house, or the eagerness they have to tag along on an August squirrel hunt. At a young age I developed a strong passion for the outdoors.  My passion began when my Dad introduced me to coon hunting.  I would spend what seemed like endless nights running through the darkness following coon hounds.   That lit a fire in me to pursue just about anything that the state of Indiana had to offer.  The thrill of chasing wild turkeys, sitting in the woods waiting on a mature whitetail, and hitting the water or a cornfield for waterfowl are all things that I continue to live for.

My love for waterfowl hunting led me to the opportunity to spend time in the field hunting upland game birds.  Witnessing my German Shorthaired Pointer’s first point, or my Labrador’s first retrieve is a reward like no other. When I’m not working or spending time in the woods in Indiana, I enjoy time in the mountains chasing down rocky mountain elk.  This is something that I absolutely live for, and love sharing with others.  Especially individuals who have not experienced what Western hunting has to offer.  Nothing will get your adrenaline pumping quite like a bull elk bugling in your face at 20 yards!

After attending college at Vincennes University, I began a career in residential construction.  While I still have a passion for construction, my love for the outdoors led me to pursuing a career where I could pass my passion for the outdoors onto others.  Which brought me to Base Camp Country Real Estate.  My hopes are to have the opportunity to work with individuals who have a strong desire to find a place where they can enjoy what the good Lord’s creations have to offer.  Whatever it is that people are most passionate about, I would love to help make those individuals dreams and desires a reality!
