As a proud Wisconsin native, Drake Rekowski, was raised in the woods and on the water. I grew up hunting and fishing across central and northern Wisconsin, and by 14, bowhunting became a lifelong passion. Since then, I’ve spent countless seasons chasing whitetails, studying their behavior, and developing the woodsmanship that defines who I am.

I attended the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, staying close to home so I could keep hunting while earning a degree. When I graduated I had every ambition to become a wildlife biologist or even a game warden, but to accomplish that I would’ve had to move to the western portion of the country and I wasn’t ready to do that quite yet. However, my education deepened my understanding of the land, the animals, and the ecosystems that make hunting meaningful.

I’ve worked in the hunting industry as a photographer and videographer, collaborating with some of the most respected companies in the field. Telling the story behind the hunt capturing the raw moments and honest emotions is one of my greatest joys.

I take pride in the knowledge I’ve gained through years in the woods and hope to share it with anyone looking to grow as a hunter, whether beginner or seasoned.

I’m also a husband and father, and passing my love for the outdoors on to my family means everything to me. I currently reside in the rural Pulaski area.

I’m thrilled to be associated with Base Camp and look forward to using my experience to support both current and future customers on their own outdoor journeys.
